The Giving Water needs volunteers with skills from Artiest to deign labels to weightlifter to carry the water. We need all kinds of volunteers.

Requirements
- Complete a short volunteer application
- Minimum age of 18 years old
- Be able to lift 1 case of water 35lbs
- Main volunteers must pass a criminal background check
- All volunteers sign ethics, confidentiality, and drug/alcohol agreements

VOLUNTEERS SERVICES INCLUDE:
Administration & Information
- Essential to the daily operations of The Giving Water
- Light office duties such as data entry, phone calls, copying, mailing, preparation, typing, filing, etc.
- Flexible hours
- Social Media creation and entry on all platforms
- Providing information on The Giving Water
- Direct and Connect people with the different fundraising services or needed referrals
- 4-hour per week commitment
FREE Water Fundraising Support
- Essential to providing the community with Free Bottled Water fro The Giving Water
- Able to lift 35 lbs or more (put cases of water into cars)
- Able to stand, bend over and lift for several hours at a time
- Flexible hours
CASUAL VOLUNTEERS
Don’t have the time for a weekly commitment, but still want to be involved? The Giving Water needs you! Volunteer on any special day for a special event. Pick and choose the time and place you can back to the community on behalf of The Giving Water. It is all up to you.

Donations
The Giving Water accepts donation gift from your company. These items will be raffled, auchens or given away Have a special skill that you would like to share with program participants? Consider conducting a 1-hour workshop or a series. The Center looks for experts to present engaging workshops that span the gamut from life skills to leisure-time activities. Past workshops have included:
- Cooking (series)

- Origami
- Know Your Rental Rights
- Financial literacy (series)

REMOTE VOLUNTEERING
Remote volunteering is a way to volunteer when you don’t have the time or flexibility to be on The Center premises during our open hours. Contact us as we may have projects that you can do from the comfort of your home.
With Covid 19 still very relevent The Giving Water is having ALL VOLUNTEERS WORK REMOTELY: We are deeply saddened that the virus has caused a tragic loss of life, loss of jobs, homes and more. It is by only by pure determination to provide for others that The Giving Water continues to be innovative and transformation The Giving Water so that we can continue on our mission to provide hydration for disasters and those in need. It is our responsibility to hydrate the community freely. We are convinced that our current path will allow us to help create a new normal society where all individuals, businesses and charities are given hydration and the funds need to help others with resources and opportunities becoming more successful than they already are.
