Water is life
It begins, as life does, beside the water.
Mountain rivers and quiet streams. Rainfall on the reservoir. The lakes where families gather. Across America, water is the thread that connects every community — every farm, every firehouse, every neighborhood.
Then the water turns. A river crests its banks. A drought cracks the farmland. A storm takes the power, and with it, the taps. In a single afternoon, the most ordinary thing in the world becomes the thing everyone needs most.
The Giving Water exists for that afternoon — and the long days after it.
